Nokia Messaging against own mail servers with TLS/SSL?

I tested Nokia Messaging and I'm not able setup it to cooperate with our servers. When I tested with gmail.com and some others freemail then all works fine.
After some experiments it looks that NM works fine with our servers if is not used TLS/SSL. But normal situation is that only SSL/TLS connections are allowed (POP3S, IMAPS, IMAP with STARTTLS, SMTPS, SMTP with STARTTLS). I tested to setup mail from NM web and from mobile too, both variants fail. I too tested situation where I enable connections without SSL, then NM works and then switch to SSL variant and NM fail.

I tried debug communication on my server side and it looks that the Nokia server connects to our server then download my server certificate and immediately disconnect without any efforts to setup TLS/SSL tunnel. This looks that Nokia servers don't accept self signed certificates or certificates which are signed a certificate authority which is unknown to the Nokia servers?
Our servers are linux based (CentOS 4 or 5) with Cyrus IMAP and sendmail.
If I use native email client in my Nokia mobile then all works fine with our servers. There is too interesting that we had to remove czech characters from the distingue names of the server certificates because if the server DN contains czech characters UTF8 coded in the certificate then native email client and WWW client in the mobile fail setup IMAPS/HTTPS connection. The WWW client fail with message "Cann't operate", email client reports that there aren't any messages on the server.
