I am having trouble with my 1gb mmc card, my 6230 would not recognise it (probably because the firmware is not set up to accept this much capacity.

I formatted it on my husbands N70 and it clearly shows that i have 999mb of free space.

When it comes to adding mp3's it will only let me fill it upto 512mb????? Its telling me the memory is full now.

Help please!!!! And no technical jargon please.

Nokia recomanded to user maximum of 256 MB MMC card for Nokia 6230.

512 MB It's a recommandation but the maximum allowed is 1 GB MMCmobile Card MU-13, dual voltage (1.8/3.0 V).
Sales package includes an MMC Adapter for a full size MMC slot and an MMC Case.

I'm trying to purchase a MU-13 1GB MMC Mobile Card for my nokia 6630 but even my locol nokia store can't source one for me.

Anyone out there know where i can get one?
